From this activity, if I get a low score, I need some help in note-taking and if I get a high score, I already using many good note-taking strategies. Since I've got only 5 points, so I still need some help in note-taking.

WHY WE MUST TAKE LECTURE NOTES?

1. Promotes active listening by helping you concentrate on the lecture.

2. It provides an accurate record of information that was presented in class.

3. It helps you to organize the information.

4. It provides additional repetition.

EFFECTIVE NOTE-TAKING SYSTEM

1.Cornell Note-Taking System

3.The Block Method
-Block notes are especially useful if you need to record a great deal of information very quickly.
-Block notes are written continuously across the page, separating the details by dashes (-) or slashes (/).

4.The Modified Block Method
-Having all of the information grouped under a heading without showing various levels of support as in an outline.

5.Mapping Method
-Mind maps are commonly drawn from a central point, purpose or goal in the center of the page and then branching outward to identify all of the ideas connected to that goal.
